Advent is a season of anticipation — a time to prepare our hearts and celebrate the coming of Christ. It reminds us that hope isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s a confident expectation rooted in God’s faithfulness.
Every single person has a philosophy of life. They have something that gets them out of bed in the morning. They have a center of gravity, a sun around which the planets of their life revolve. We all fill in the blank in the sentence: "For me, to live is ___."
Ephesians 4:17, “So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind.”
Many people believe that they can earn salvation by following a set of rules or by being generally good. However, the Bible clearly states that no one is righteous on their own. Our salvation is not based on our own self-righteousness or good deeds.
As I sit here with my cup of coffee and my warm blanket, I imagine us sitting together, as I express my heart on a particular topic that continues to be on my mind lately.
