While reading the book of Acts, it is noticeable that there is a focus on the role of the Holy Spirit. Studying the Holy Spirit is important to every believer. The difficulty is in the varying ideas about the Holy Spirit.
The book of Acts is a historical account of the establishment of the church. Acts bridges the gap between the ministry of Jesus and the mission of Paul.
We’ve just wrapped up with our county fair. What a week, right? I imagine many of us who spent any amount of time at the fair has a story or two we could share.
A majority of people believe in heaven and hell. However, most believe they will end up in heaven rather than hell. Sadly, many are mistaken and will realize that truth too late.

The book of Joshua has some interesting reading and some rather dry reading. Once you make it through the division of the land to each tribe, Joshua’s farewell message draws you back in.
Gilgal was a place of memorial. Gilgal is significant in the Bible because it served as a place of memorial to remind the Israelites of what God had done by parting the Jordan River (Joshua 4:19-24).
